Who we are…
Georgia Roworth “she/her”
Georgia Roworth is the Principal Psychologist at Meander Therapy—a practice rooted in the natural beauty of Tasmania’s Meander Valley, now offering compassionate, Australia-wide Telehealth support.
With nearly a decade of experience as a registered psychologist, Georgia provides care across generations, treating a wide range of mental health conditions. Her primary therapeutic approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), complemented by training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Thought Field Therapy, and Yoga for the Mind.
At Meander Therapy, we believe that to suffer is to be human. We understand the pain that can arise from life’s challenges—and how, with care and guidance, suffering can be transformed into safe and meaningful experiencing. This process opens the way toward a life rich in purpose and connection.
Sometimes, our inner experiences—unwanted thoughts and feelings—can leave us feeling stuck or overwhelmed. While these experiences are a normal part of being human, they can become distressing when we begin to see them as bad, dangerous, or threatening. If this resonates with you, know that it’s possible to relate to these experiences differently. At Meander Therapy, we support you in building a safe and healthy relationship with yourself, your inner world, and others.
We’re here to help you:
- Regain a sense of control in your life
- Develop insight into your inner experiences and their significance
- Confidently face life’s challenges
- Cultivate self-acceptance and personal empowerment
- Build and maintain healthy, connected relationships—with yourself and those around you
