Psychotherapy

At Meander Therapy we provide treatment to support adults with a range of difficulties, including;

  • interpersonal difficulties

  • difficulties associated with neurodivergence (e.g. autism and ADHD)

Treatment modes drawn upon include ACT, CBT, DBT, Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Thought Field Therapy, and Yoga for the Mind.

What to Expect

Choosing to engage in therapy takes courage. Adding to this, we understand it can be difficult finding the right combination of therapist and treatment approach.

  3. Developing an individual treatment plan with your therapist

  4. Receiving support and guidance throughout your therapeutic journey

Appointments are held via Telehealth.

Fees

Session fees are dependent on the funding source. Our standard fee for a 50-minute session is $225 ($128.35 out of pocket*). This is below the current national recommended fee for psychologists of $315, according to the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).

*If you have been referred by your GP on a Mental Health Care Plan you may be entitled to a Medicare rebate ($96.65) for the number of sessions stipulated on the referral. Should you hold private health insurance, you may be entitled to a rebate from your insurance provider.

NDIS Meander Therapy is able to provide services to self-managed and plan managed NDIS participants. Fees are as stipulated by the NDIS and can be located on their website (www.ndis.gov.au). Invoices can be processed directly through identified plan management services.

Bulk billing Meander Therapy is unable to offer bulk billing services. Should you require fully subsidised or bulk billed services, please speak to your referrer and discuss your options.
